Urban Weaves: the city as fabric at The Mexican Museum

Tramas Urbanas

March 20, 2017 – May 20, 2017

Urban Weaves, at The Mexican Museum, sees the city as a fabric: layers of streets, stories and materials that overlap. The show gathers pieces that think the urban landscape through ceramics and other languages, in a reflection on how we inhabit and shape shared space. It is a brief, concentrated proposal that invites you to read the city like a map full of marks. For San Francisco audiences, it is also a way of looking at the urban from a Mexican sensibility. With ArtGuide you approach each work and its weave.
