Jorge Obregón climbed Mexico’s volcanoes to paint them from life, and the result is a series that crosses landscape with anthropology, astronomy and archive. A Portrait of Time, at the Museo Kaluz, grew from a three-year project that took him to ritual sites to capture exact sunrises, like the sun rising between the peaks of the Nevado de Toluca.
